Located 6 miles west of Watertown SD off Highway 212 on the banks of Lake Kampeska. Sandy Shore State Recreation Area is a great place to enjoy lake recreational activities. Sandy Shore provides fishing, boating, swimming, and a boat launch. You can also enjoy picnic areas, camping pads, and tent sites. Electricity is available year-round.

Daily: $8 per vehicle
Annual: $36 first vehicle | $18 for second vehicle | $80 transferable license
Campsites – electrical: $26 per night
Campsites – non-electrical: $22 per night
