Pelican Lake Recreation Area is hosting a 6 part series designed for our senior guests to explore, learn, and celebrate conservation. Who can participate? Anyone with a youthful spirit, a passion for the outdoors, a desire to learn, and a love for fun is welcome to join O.W.L.S. Each month, we’ll offer a variety of activities in the park, including guest speakers, outdoor adventures, crafts, and much more! In February, we will learn why bats are vital to our ecosystem and build bat houses for these incredible flying mammals.
